About Us
History
As a lifelong resident of SWFL, my passion for drafting started in high school at the Sarasota County Technical Institute (SCTI) where I studied drafting and design. I attended South Central Florida College (Manatee Community College), where I received degrees in Architectural Drafting & Design and Construction Technology.
While earning my degrees, I apprenticed for local architects and also gained field experience on several construction projects. After graduating and working in the construction industry, I returned to SCTI teaching evening drafting classes.
In 2002, I started BLS drafting and have been providing residential and commercial drafting services to the SWFL area.

Why us?
We provide a level of personalized service that is hard to find in the busy construction industry. Where many drafting companies are developing cookie-cutter plans for large developments, we are working to provide plans for your personalized project.
Troubleshooting
We solve problems that other companies create. If you have a situation where your permits are stalled and your drafting company has abandoned you, give us a call. We'll track down the cause and clean up the issue.
